Just left my Volt at a Blink charger for a few hours and came back to find I had left it in delayed charging mode (which I normally use at home to charge during off-peak rates). I assume this has happened to others. Wouldn't a big, bold "Charge Now" button on the charge screen be nice? Maybe it would temporarily override your charge mode just for the next charge? Thoughts?

When you press the open-charge-door button (the one inside the car), you can do a temporary override there... There's a (somewhat obscure) way when you're outside: plug in your Volt, then immediately unplug it and plug it back in again.

I avoid using delayed charge for this very reason.

Thanks, folks. I still think an on-screen button would be nice but I suppose I'll have to get used to this (from the manual):

To temporarily override a delayed
charge event, unplug the charge
cord from the charge port and then
plug it back in within five seconds.
A single horn chirp will sound and
charging will begin immediately.
To cancel a temporary override,
unplug the charge cord, wait for
10 seconds, and then plug the
charge cord back in. A double horn
chirp will sound and charging will be
delayed.
